The McLean Game Refuge encompasses 4,416 acres of land in Granby, Canton and Simsbury, Conn. The diverse park originally contained 3,400 acres left to the public in Senator George P. McLean’s will when he died in 1932. Other entrances to the park with less parking can be found on Canton Rd., Firetown Rd. and Great Pond Rd. in Simsbury.
